Jan Czyżewski viola
Violist, graduate of the Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik in Berlin in the class of prof. Simone von Rahden and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the class of prof. Piotr Reichert.
So far, he has been improving his solo and chamber skills in classes including: Michał Bryła, Katarzyna Budnik, Wojciech Koprowski, Izabella Szałaj-Zimak and Birgitta Wollenweber. Moreover, by participating in many music courses and workshops, he had the opportunity to cooperate with many outstanding instrumentalists such as Vladimir Bukac and Arto Noras.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he has won many national competitions, including: in Wrocław (2013), Szczecin (2014), Bydgoszcz (2017), Gdańsk (2017) and Kraków (2018), as well as a semi-finalist of international competitions, including the 53rd Beethoven Competition in Hradec (2015) and the 11th International Music Competition. Michał Spisak (2017). As a member of the Muscada String Quartet, he has performed in many prestigious concert halls, including the NOSPR and Sinfonia Varsovia, and as the deputy leader of the viola section of the Santander Orchestra under the baton of maestro Jerzy Maksymiuk and maestro Jose Maria Florencio at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Center for Music and the National Philharmonic. .
